Why would you want to wait a year or two?

 

Hate to focus on one thing here, but MSRP was about 52k for a truck that doesn’t even have parking sensors? :O

 

F-150’s are the highest priced full size truck out there. Base model Ecoboost 4x4 F-150 double cab starts at 42,000.00

 

Why do vehicles that come standard with a back up camera need parking sensors?

I know you are talking about pricing.

 

Not buying first year vehicle again last two times i have, they have had lots of serious issues. Give it a couple years for the bugs to be worked out and for the pkgs. to be tweaked.

Seems manufacturers rush things to mkt before they've really been sure all was right with the vehicle first. Then the next two years they try to remedy with recalls or service visits.

I just wait a couple years now.

 

Sometimes the sensors especially with cross traffic alert catch things before they are in the camera and it's just added protection and awareness. Like it especially when children present. If a child or something else comes darting from the side you will be alerted before they are even in your camera.

 

My 2016 Tacoma was a disaster. Leaked water in cab from 5 different places and that is only one issue it had. Would soak front and rear seats and run inside dash and knock out the electronics every time it rained. And you couldnt go through an automatic car wash. The water issues coupled with some other misbuilt issues were just too much. Wind noise issues like failed seals (extremely loud whistling/howling) at every door and from the windshield were annoying also since i live in a state where the wind blows every day almost. Dumped it after 6 months. Hence wtg. until 2018 to try again.

Hoping it was just misbuilt and that these things have been improved upon in the two years i waited.

 

Congrats on the new Blue. Life is color, your going to love it. I sure am thankful today for my Inferno MT.
