    Too much to list lol
Thank you for this well-detailed, informative post! I was on the fence but since reading this post... I ordered my grille and garnish/glass panel. :p haha

Is it an OEM garnish or Chinese knockoff?

If @fuser83 changes his mind I'm interested in the lower black garnish piece as well. I have a '17 and have no need for the glass garnish.

Even without and error, I would not try to make it work without the garnish because of the fact that the honeycomb panel may deflect the radar differently...plus you don’t get the same protection against the sensor. Toyota engineers have a reason for what they do...but to each his own.

I have yet to see any Chinese garnish pieces for sale...most go throw a dealer for that let regardless if the grill is OEM or not. I got mine shipped from Royal South in Indiana. They have plenty.

China. For anyone who ended up with a 2018 grill but doesn’t have TSS.

No thanks. The black on the Chinese grille is a few shades lighter than the OEM grille. I would buy it if it wasn't for this mismatch.

This is the pro grill for the 18 without The panel, the garnish use the TSS sensor, and the longer wiring harness. The push clips to secure the garnish will be in on Tuesday. All parts were purchased through Camelback Toyota from our member here @gunny1005. Total shipped for all items shown was $249. The two push clips to secure the garnish are $.74 each

90183-06044 Is the part number for the push clips

Just installed the OEM with garnish on my 2018 OR. Thanks for the tip! Just want to add that the cable ties attaching the TSS sensor to the chrome grill need to be snipped carefully with wire cutters to allow removal of the TSS sensor. Came out great and works perfect...such an improvement!

Have you thought about called by them and asking them for the piece back? I’d buy it from you.

This is great - thank you. Local dealer here in San Diego quoted me $2000 to do all of the above (install 2018 Pro grille for my 2018 TRD O/R). I'm looking forward to the DIY approach.

Crooks! If you feel you're not up for the job, I'd do it for significantly less  Haha just kidding. Good luck man, it's super easy!

Hey Guys, so what’s the proper way to do this and what does Toyota recommend? Which parts do I need to upgrade to the pro grille on my 2018? Seems the ones on here were modified ‘16-‘17 grilles?

Look a few post above, #30. Also look at the first post. They have everything you need and repeat part numbers for you with pictures.

Thanks, and this is the proper way to do it with still having the TSS working OK? The first post suggests buying the older 16-17 grille. What if I want to by the '18?

You can use the 2017 Grille, the only difference is the garnish piece.

How do I remove the lock washers from the insert on my 2016/17 Pro grille? I'm getting my 2018 Off Road tomorrow, getting the garnish on Friday so maybe I can do this project on the weekend. Can I get the washers off without destroying them so that they are reusable? More importantly I don't want to wreck the insert which I intend to keep for just in case. Thanks.

I asked a member here about ordering a 2018 grille for my OR and he said they are on "manual release" and toyota isn't selling them unless you have a PRO?
