I was just looking over my title and noticed that it says,

    Empty weight: 4306
    Gross Weight: 5600
    GVWR: 10,000
    GCWR: <blank>

This sounds very wrong to me but what do I know.

Could it say "less than" 10,000 by chance?

As long as your name and the VIN number are correct it doesn't really matter.

Your actual payload rating is on a sticker on the driver door jamb.

Could matter for reg cost wherever OP is from. Only speculation though.

True, that is why I asked about less than 10K.

    GVWR is 5600.

    GCWR should be around 11000.

Titles don't always get those numbers correct, but it might be a state classification thing, as someone above said

And if the state can charge more for your plates by classifying the weight of your truck higher - they will.

When I registered my Tacoma, the DMV lady said something along the lines of "Regular registration is for gross weight up to 3 tons. Since this is a truck do you want to increase that to 4 tons for $XX?" I declined because that's above the Taco's GVWR. It's just paperwork.
