Hey everyone I have been looking through so many posts and my head is spinning. I have a 2018 Pro in Canada. One of my headlights is driving me nuts I have tried the cleaning kits and just doesn't seem to go back to normal it is a little foggy on the top. My local Toyota wants around 1500 each for the headlights. On ebay they all say doesn't work with led drl or doesn't work with halogen drl. I would like to know if my bulbs are led or halogen and my drl. If anyone has any suggestions they have been happy with for a reasonable price please chime in. I am gonna take them to my buddy first to see if he can clean them before I order new lights they are just so crazy expensive. Thank you

The bulbs are Halogen and a good detail shop can clean, polish and re clear the light to new condition. I have done several headlights and non of this crap from Amazon , toothpaste,wd40, headlight renewer in a kit works the correct way. A good wet sanding, polish, wet sanding again and then clear paint and not from a rattle can will do the trick.

Don't cross your finger, it a guarantee that they will. I have done several and I m talking 100s over the years. They will look new again. Just keep a nice polish sealant on them every few months, Cermaic coating is ok but not necessary. Make sure he re clear coats them, a decent automatic paint works best and should hold up about 5 plus years and more if taken care of. Good luck and you should be fine.

Headlight restoration and ceramic coating should get that dialed in no problem.

I think that's the picture we all had in mind. Not a worthless thread at all. You will be pleased with the results if the right guy gets on them. Regards Scott
