I am looking at running 285/75/16's. I have a Rough Country 2 inch level and Spydertrax wheel spacers on top of the TRD Pro suspension . Do you think I will have any issues rubbing? I am looking at Cooper STT Pros, Nitto KO2's and General Grabber AT2's.

    Any advice is appreciated!

Unless anything has changed with the 2018, you'll most likely need a cab mount chop to not rub.

There are guys saying they have 285/75/16s on stock TRD Pro suspension with no trimming and just heating up plastic though? It doesn't make sense to me.

Lift has nothing to do with the rub. The height of your truck does not factor into the rub. Your tire size, wheel spec and alignment affect it, and most rub on the cab mount. On rare occasions people claim they don't.

same truck, same lift and was rubbing pretty bad with 265/70/17 BFG KO2 on 17" 4Runner Pro rims and spidertrax 1.25" spacers. Its the spacers the cause the rub

    2.75 lift
    Cooper stt pro 285/70/17
    Spc uca

No rub but I’m sure if I did do 285/75/17 I’ll definitely rub which will require cmc.

They will fit on stock suspension and no spacers, but you have to run the stock 16” Pro wheels.

I run that size with the stock OR suspension and only had to massage the inner fender wells a bit.

The rubbing on that tires size will come from running spacers. If you don’t run the spacers, some guys magically get away with only heavy plastic trimming/melting and mudflap delete.

The key is not to increase the wheel poke and you just might get lucky.

Cooper STT Pro E rating I think.

Rides fine to me. Smooth with very minimal vibrations at slow speed. Not as loud as what some people perceived it to be. I'm still at 19-20mpg and this is my daily.
