I'm also not a fan of all the "extras" on the truck. The graphics package, roof rack, bed step, etc. were all a bit too much. Big reason it didn't come home with me.

I thought I liked the color a lot, but it seems like the more I look at it, the less I like it. Still have yet to see it in person, so that could change.

I think with the right tires and lift it is pretty sweet color. I like the name of it as well.

Yeah, I hear that. Minus the stickers, I have the same setup.

If you look at my profile, I refer to my OEM crossbars and Predator steps as "dadding it". Hey, I gotta have a spot for all those dang snowboards and my baby girl has to be able to get into the truck.

I'm damn proud o' my DAD Pro!

What do you guys think of the grille? Honestly, I think the TSS cutout looks like crap. It looks like a mod gone wrong.
    file4.jpg
"We'll just cut a big square out of the grille right under the letters and slap it in there with a shiny piece of plastic in front of it"

Not trolling or anything. I haven't seen it live. Maybe it looks different. "Mod gone wrong" - says the guy who is waiting for a warm day so he can murder-Derp his TOYOTA grille letters red...

Agree. You would think the smart people at Toyota could have got a bit more creative in how they did that. I really like the pro grill and am planning on getting a 2018...but this is making me rethink getting the pro grill.

Is that for the TSS? Is that why that’s cut out?

If so, guys are buying the 140.00 knockoff grille and successfuly mounting the TSS sensor on it. Not sure why Toyota didn’t do this.

It looks better in person. I agree That it could have probably been executed better, but what you can’t see in the picture is that the mesh grill pattern of the rest of the grill is also behind the glass panel. so when looking at it head on it looks a little less mod-gone-wrong

Ordered my white Pro 11/20/17. Dealer says I should have it by the 20th of this month. I guess that's normal. Took a month for my Cement Trd Pro 4runner to come in too.

Guess I should've been more clear that the dealership is owned by my wife's uncle and they put a rush on it for me. They were scheduled to get a cavalry blue one, but when I said that I wanted black or white they changed it for a white one. It'll probably show up by the end of next week.
