2018 TRD Spot Rear Bumper

So, today, I backed into a cement pole stand on my left side, thus bending the bumper inward and scratching the painted cap on the end. I cannot for the life of me fine these parts at a decent price. I'm not sure what is bent. Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement parts? I'd hate to take it to a body shop and have to buy a whole new bumper. The color is Quicksand.

 

Just buy some end caps when your color becomes available from ecological.

 

I think the black caps are available for $80 or so. Then it'll need to be painted. What's the decent price you are looking for?

 

$80 each is decent, but I cannot find them for cheaper than $150 each, plus, I am lost when it comes to the correct part numbers. I do not have the backup assist (although, after today, maybe I should, LOL).

 

Lol. I bet someone will come in and get you a good part number. I've seen several threads pop up on it. I remembered $80 because I assume it'll happen to me at some point, lol.

Try googling tacoma bumper skin. That may bring up a tw thread.

 

Rock Auto. Then get a can of SEM Bumper Coater. Do it yourself. Like 125 all in. With the paint

Also these caps are only $54 not OEM but it’s all plastic so it won’t matter IMO I’d buy the cheaper ones

Hate to piss n your corn flakes but the "steel" part of these bumpers are as tough as a beer can and I bet it bent. I tapped a pole on a corner and it didn't look that bad until I took a closer look. Went with a Fab Four rear bumper.

 

Thanks for the info guys. I bought the left and right from RockAuto. I'll but both and leave them black, if I don't like it, I will buy the paint and stuff to paint them.
