2018 windshield replacement $885

    These new windshields with cameras are way more expensive. $885 is probably average. New OEM is around $1000. Just dont ever break a windshield on an 18+!

    In Florida, insurance is required to replace windshield, no deductible, no premium increase for a claim. But the insurance company doesn't do that out the goodness of their heart. They just add the glass coverage into the premium up front instead of breaking it out as an option.

    That said, when I traded our 2016 Highlander Ltd (no camera) for a 2020 Highlander Ltd (with camera), insurance went down a few bucks. Guess all that nanny tech means fewer accidents/claims.

    If u have glass coverage threw your insurance I would use them pay your deductible and be done . I always carry glass coverage it’s relatively inexpensive item to add to your insurance .
