2019 2.7 runs rough when cold

Nope. Engine compartment bone stock. Has done excatly what you’ve described since day one. Now has 12k miles

 

Maybe mine was only doing it slightly and the AFe CAI just magnified it. I just hit 40k miles this week and it still does it.

 

Yea it’s weird man. I just really don’t want them messing with it. A scanner is fine but I don’t want them tearing into it unless it’s 100% necessary. I’ve had bad luck with mechanics and it’s hard to find a good one, least around me. I was thinking maybe a film of oil is coated on the air sensor but doesn’t make sense now cause you said you’ve cleaned yours . Idk. Plus , some days is better then others on mine. Be my luck the mechanics couldn’t “replicate” the issue if I brought it to them.

 

I've done all my own mechanic work for years. And it would be pointless to take my to the dealership to figure it out since 1. I installed an aftermarket CAI among about $8k worth of other stuff on the truck. And 2. It's out of warranty anyways.

I changed the oil this week, but haven't checked the MAF sensor yet. Probably do that tomorrow when I rotate tires.
