have new 2019 taco SR 2.7L came with factory 16x7 steel plain jane wheels! want to put toyota trd wheel or equivalent! Want to stay same size!
online OEM wheels says 25mm offset! but doesnt say - or + offset??? !!!

Don't want to buy online wheels! regardless if OEM or aftermarket! (incase i like aftermarket) and then find out they don't fit.....
i understand OEM will fit, but incase i go other brands! like pic below style......

so from my understanding any wheel/rim 16x7 made for a tacoma with backspacing +25 mm i should be the same as OEM? and regardless if i go 16x8....backspacing should still be +25mm???

    A 7" wide rim with +25mm offset has a backspace of 5".
A 8" wide rim with a +25mm offset has a backspace of 5.5". To keep the same backspace, you need a +12mm offset. However, your wheel will stick out 1" further.
