Just an FYI. Not having the cubby on my 2019. I’ve noticed a water and mud spray dripping from under the bed rail. Maybe because the cubby blocks some of the spray from flinging up there. Not a fan of the decision to delete it for a year.

Has anybody water proofed their cubby? Got plugs for the drain holes now trying to find something for the bottom tabs and the lock knob. I have a shell so don't to do the door. I know this is kind of and old thread just giving it a try. Would love some suggestions. Thanks.

Right those Pre-Production trucks are made up of whatever parts they have laying around so its safe to assume they just slapped an older bed on.

The problem with OEM is that they don't cover the curved surface. Had them on my truck and the PO worn down the paint to the bare metal in that area.
I'll be having the area painted and installing the GTek protectors.

You're right. My factory protectors didn't cover that area. I have a 2012, maybe that's why.

I saw someone on here 3D printed some covers then used 2sided adhesive tape to cover them up

Don't have access to a printer. Oh the things I could do. Bought some 1 1/2" x 1/2" Furniture plugs but the bottom door tabs wouldn't fit right. I have some 3/16" stiff rubber, thinking about just making my own and silicone everything up. Thanks for you idea!!

The auto show vehicles are preproduction and they just use pieces and parts laying around, definitely had 2016 -2018 beds on them.
