2019 Bluetooth microphone

I’m on my second 3rd gen (coming from 2016) and noticed the BT mic is closer to the driver on my 2019, located near the sun visor.
I pulled the overhead console down to replace the 194 bulbs and sure enough the mic slot is empty. (Could be a clever spot for a mod)
Also noticed during a phone call not having to speak as loud.
I assume it’s new for 2019 not knowing much about 2017 or 2018s.
Stupid post I know, just excited to be back in a 3rd gen.

 

Did the overhead console come down the same way the 2016 did? I have a 19 now and it seemed to be up there a little tighter than my 17 was so I stopped trying.

I'm on the fence as to where to mount the BT microphone for new head unit - near visor or center console when I get the new Pioneer head unit (6600).
