None as of yet, I just bought it. Will update as I go.
Wanting to switch my head unit on my new SR but wanting to get one with Sirius as well. My question is does the factory shark fin antennae come set up for satellite radio? I don't see any other antennae on trucks with the JBL. So would I just need to get the adapter to plug into the new head unit?

I would take the radio out and check to see if the siriusxm antenna wire is there. Its split off the from the main antenna wire. If you don't have factory Siriusxm they might have taped the wire to the harness. ADS makes an adapter to hook up to the Sirius svx2000 or svx3000. Its the idatalink st02.

For the record my experiences with XM have been terrible...they provided me with months of credits.
    • The service/antenna is terrible...constantly drops out, not just under bridges but everywhere I drive in open space.
    • The streaming is low quality, so it sounds duller compared to HD or better compression rate.
    • The customer service team is untrained and does not understand the basics of radio communications, nor do they do anything but try to get you to reset and call back, reset and call back, reset and call back...
I rarely suggest what others should do, but this technology is obsolete, low quality and high priced.

Pull the head unit, if you have a black small coax connector not connected you likely have the XM antenna in the shark fin. Good luck, I'm afraid you're going to need it.
