Just watched the race , rookie mistake by Leclerc , Fishlips should have got a drive through for the unsafe release , leaders lapping slower than the Williams in 20th is lame and having to listen to the Mercedes pit wall trying to convince Hamilton not to throw his toys out of the crib for 50 laps was unbearable , bring on Montreal

Boring race. At least HAM made the aftermath a bit exciting by running all over the place. I got up and heated some leftovers mid-race, didn't miss a bit of action.

How was Indy? I missed it entirely other than knowing the outcome.

Alexander Rossi almost got his 2nd Indy 500 win but lost in closing laps cause his Honda wasn't as strong as the Chev that overtook him for the win. Half a second separation between the top 3. Still, cars going around in circles is only exciting for a little while. I think I started watching around Lap 120 something of 200 and it still got a little boring. NBC made sure half the time spent was watching commercials so that made it even worse. I like watching the street and track races though. Always exciting to watch.

Joylon Palmer seems to agree plus he picks on HAM for his radio drama.

Going to be 10° hotter on Sunday compared to qualy on Saturday. Hopefully some unexpected tire deg makes it interesting.

Is Ferrari actually faster than Merc this weekend? I have a feeling that qualifying will be really close. Unfortunately this is another parade type track. Makes me almost wish for the carnage causing fishlips of old. Almost. Maybe his inner rage baby will make a reappearance.

Actually in all seriousness, Max looks like he's matured a full 10 years in the off season. He's really driving well and within his means this year. Redbull and Honda seem to be working well together.

    LeClerc to win in Montreal

    You heard it here first

And I'll bet there are 20% more overtakes in this race than any other race so far this season

Some cars will be 3 stopping with tire deg

one batch, two batch.. penny & dime.
I can agree with Leclerc winning....

Well see in the tire deg, i think the supersofts will be too soft for this track, and theyll stick to medium/hard compounds...still should be a 2 stopper for some..

What, no quali comments? This is one of the few race weekends when I don't have to put off reading this thread for fear of spoilers, and you all go silent on me.

Vettel really put one down, as did Hamilton. Very impressive. And Ricciardo was brilliant but the coverage didn't show it.

With the tire situation and Ferrari's straight line speed it should be an entertaining race. Let's hope the rest of the season stays close.
