Holy S**T! Just watched the Qualifying.....Seb is 7th. Merc is on fire!!!! Could it be they are doing better with the memory of Niki L.?!

 

What is going on, what did I miss??

 

He was just telling madtown not to let the door hit him in the ass.

 

What a boring race. Poor Lando was doing so good and had to run into problems. Danny should be dinged with a penalty.

 

Boring in front until the last lap. Mid pack I thought was pretty darned exciting. Lando deserved DotD for sure. Not sure what was up with Ricciardo, he's usually not that dumb about overtakes.

 

Danny Ric got 2 time penalties on the last lap , drops out of the points to 11th

 

Little solace for Lando and McLaren

 

I really hope things start happening for McLaren. I know some of their team changes won't have any effect til 2020 but it's nice to see decent progress. Unlike Haas.

 

It puts Lando up to 9th place, 2 points versus 1. Every point counts in that section of the grid. And truth be told Lando deserves every favorable ruling -- that was a fine drive.

I can't figure Haas out. I was sure they would jettison Grosjean after his awful 2018. But no. I understand they are a young, growing team and have to make allowances for that. But Roman has been around. He's shown his stripes. They need to harden up and do what it takes to move up the grid.

So does Williams.

 

Especially seeing how Guenther Steiner treats him. Like he doesn't want him there or even deserves to be there.

 

RIC cost him two places. I need to check but with those lost points he would be two or three places higher in the tight midfield race.

I wonder how long I'll have to wait until a battle like this is for P1?

 

Almost forgot it's a race weekend the last one was so boring up front.
