    You ever get messed with by the popo with Texas plates and them curious if you are carrying a sidearm? I’ll be on a road trip from Texas to Canada and don’t really wanna sleep on the road with out personal protection

    I'm not sure where you intend to sleep but maybe don't do it in places where you feel like you need a security blanket.

    But honestly I doubt a cop would pull over a Texas plates because they think you might be carrying. "You might have a gun" is not probable cause and would result in any indictment getting thrown out if challenged. But I would make sure you are familiar with any requirements to bring a firearm into Canada.

    Check what states you’re driving through and see if they honor texas’ chl, there are quite a few states that do.

    California doesn't honor any chl/ccl licenses if i recall correctly. Heck if your gun holds more than 10 rounds is illegal...
