That's amazing, my commutes are only in the 30 mile range and it's half interstate half city. I still get 20.9 during my commute, this gives me hope to get 24-25 if I head to Topsail Island this fall! Thanks!!

I just bought my 19 TRD off road...I have been getting right around 22 mixed city and highway. When I am taking it easy on the highway I can get north of 24. Been very impressed actually getting the claimed MPG's. Came from a '13 f150 ecoboost and definitely never saw the numbers that truck was supposed to get.

It’s pretty nice to get that type of mileage isn’t it! I test drove a Ranger and it just didn’t do it for me. Plus the Tacoma looks so much better!

Have the Taco for 4 weeks now and love it - have gassed up 3 tanks - doing a bit of hyper mileing without going crazy - 80-85% freeway at 65 mph and 1000 ft gain in altitude with V6.
    1st tank -26.5 mpg
    2nd tank - 27.6 mpg
    3rd tank - 25.5
I have always gotten top mileage with any vehicle with just anticipating traffic and occasionally taking it out of gear and using cruise control whenever possible. Averaging 31 mpg on a 2017 RDX (bought new) and 34 mpg on a 2014 Camry (bought new and now has 145k on it - original brakes).
Stay of the gas, coast when you can and anticipate traffic. And I am not afraid to do 150 mph on the Autobahn.....

    haven't payed super close attention.
but usually the screen shows 21-23 on my new DblCabLB Sport Lots of hills to climb here in NC. I drive fairly slow ( the Tacoma seems to prefer this) I pulled out in my mom's cross trek today and it felt twice as quick as my truck! probably because its much lighter and the 4 cyl. rev's quicker.

Coming from a DC Tundra, yes it is. I can not bring myself to even think about Fords, Chevys, Dodge, or Nissans after owning a 96 Tacoma that I put 408K miles on. I replaced two things on that truck, the starter and fuel pump that's it. My 05 Tundra had 166K no problems at all. Yeah the Tacoma is the best looking truck on the market.
