Point is its still a V8. I just cant beleive the hate mail for saying the V8 is the life of NASCAR... Those kids need to go to formula E and listen to those kazoos racing and stay there.

 

I stopped going to F1 when they switched. I'll make the trip again when they make the cars scream. That's 80% of the experience since on-track passing is null.

Indycar is still pretty cool with the turbos spooling and popping. I'm doing the 500 this year. I've never seen Indycars on an oval. I'm looking forward to it.

 

Exactly.... I tried to watch a formula e race and fell asleep in 5 minutes... Literally.... And F1 is boring too they just make a better video game than NASCAR though... But NASCAR and Indy car are my main races I watch.... Sometimes ill watch the trans am series if decker or wild bill race in it.

Back in the day, the Nascar baby grands then later called the Nascar Goody's dash series, they ran v6's.

 

They sounded like shit and that didn't last long

 

I sat behind Earnhardt’s pit for the ‘93 Busch race in Daytona. The v6s sounded utterly terrible echoing off the outer wall. Racing sounds totally different from pit road.

Instead of the Y-pipe they'd have an Hpipe and dual exit... But the headers would be similar so id expect exactly what I have now to be similar to what they'd sound like
