Yates and Wood brothers, not to mention Roush were making serious power back in the day. Still hard to beat a Yates engine.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I expect Nascar is kicking them some money as they need him in the sport for the diversity program. He should not be in a top tier team though. Bring in a girl, one of the new ones. Maybe one with tits this time! LOL...

Looks like Geoffrey Earnhardt will get support from Joe Gibbs. (ie Toyota) Dale is spinning.

I can't believe he never got a deal together with JRM. I don't think Dale and Kelly are very close with Kerry though they supported him in the lawsuit Teresa brought against him for selling his own name. Bitch!!

Agreed! I'm not a DB until I am a total DB! His whole thing of being calm now is such BS. Something does not go his way and he goes off. He had given up premiere rides because of his actions. No better than an NFL player that can't stop doing drugs or beating women. I doubt he will find much in the way of success in the #1.

Unfortunately, they both know there are better drivers.

Yeah. Hopefully that means he'll hit the quicker. Maybe Tony will get him some English classes, you can understand every 7th word, just have to piece it together to figure out what he said.

We met Ryan Blaney @ Ky Speedway a couple years ago. He won an Xfinity race we saw, then got to meet him a couple days later. I was impressed. The sport is in good hands. Still a few jerks. Still some with that golden horseshoe thingy....But there's a few talented young drivers with decent personalities. Anyone's guess WHICH talented young driver will develop those talents. I'm leaning towards Elliot and Blaney.

FORD saw Roush failing and didn't want a then-2 car Penske operation to be their banner team. They made Tony and Gene an offer they couldn't refuse, covering 4 Cup teams and at least 1 Xfinity team.

And he won an Xfinity championship. NASCAR wants to keep him around not so much for diversity (which they really don't care about), but rather because of his dad's Latin media business connections.
