Rowdy likes to make people feel like they ahead, just so he can pass them

I have to say... it was a rather entertaining race... not like I thought it would be. There was actually racing going on not follow the leader like Daytona.

I wish the Penske cars would get that treatment.

I'm a Elliott fan, like Kyle as well. All the other drivers know by not running with/helping Kyle, that's the only way they can beat him. The fans are starting to show some respect and appreciation for what he's been doing for years.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
To be fair Kyle has never been known for his super speedway accomplishments. I mean give the man his due, he has won in a lot of formats and dominated at most but anything over 2 miles is not his friend and that's not because no one will work with him. Being the lone Toyota in the top 20 did not help him this week either.

He's had speed at Talladega the past few races but he always gets the shaft

Kyle will never have the stats at the super speedways. Just not going to happen. He wins to much and at those tracks you need help. Drivers getting beat every week by the guy are never going to help him. Jr had the same problem at the plate tracks in his last five years. He had better cars and was better at it than them so they started hanging him out. Kyle also suffers in that this style of racing does not suit his style. He can excel at tracks where he can out drive people because he has better car cantrol than most of the others but at a track like this you ride around, avoid wrecks and play chess. Kyle is out there playing mindsweeper, it's just not his game and his success everywhere else hurts him at places like this.

One thing I've learned over the last couple years as a Nascar fan... Anybody can be a superstar at the Super Speedways... just look at the list of winners at places like Talladega in Daytona... And then look at what else they've won in their career.

    Derrick Cope
    Trevor Bayne
    David Regan
    Michael Waltrip
    Ricky Stenhouse
    Etc....

There's been more accidental winners at those tracks than anywhere else. I'm not a big fan of Kyle... Quite the opposite. But I respect his skill and I wouldn't worry that he can't get a win at a super speedway because he has the ability to win anywhere else unlike some of the winners at those tracks.

To be considered "good" at a big track takes it's own style of talent. To be a one hit wonder, well not so much.

You also have to factor in the equipment. I would say the cars are more equal at the super speedways than anywhere else. Until this race they all make the same power, handling is not much of an issue and you hold the car wide open. Other tracks a lot of chassis design and thigs come into play that is just not a factor at these couple of tracks. IE if you put David Ragen is the 18 at Bristol he would stand a much better chance of KB in David Ragens car.

I don't know anything about NASCAR other than that Carl Edwards is some kind of cousin on mine. Here's my mom with him a few years back IMG_5549.jpg

Starting this week, they are going back to single car qualifying at the ovals. Finally.

I disagree. Martin Truex and Clint Boyer won multiple races in subpar(MWR) cars. Kevin Harvick had moderate success in RCR cars but see what happens when he went to stellar equipment?! Heck Casey Kahne had Hendrick cars and only managed a couple wins. Equipment is a factor yes... but any great driver can find a way to overcome crappy equipment... just as well as crappy drivers can waste great stuff. Remember JJ Yaley?! He drove the 18 right before KB did.

Ragan was out to lunch in the 18.... Even a top car requires a top driver
