I feel like Hill and Sauter should have tried to fight. But I do call people out... Especially when they are being a bitch about it... If Deegan wasn't cocky about it then I wouldn't say anything....but she thinks shes hot shit from it and I have news for her.... Shes not.

I disagree. She is hot shit. But she has top gear in K&N racing. So does the 16, the 6, and the 9. To be honest, lap for lap, the K&N series is more exciting sport and spectacle-wise than Cup. Certainly more than Xfinity and trucks, too.

Well, if we're going eye for an eye, then they're even. You listen to the Dale Jr. Download? It's great. I'm listening to the Rusty Wallace interview now. He talks about how he and Dale used to knock each other around and once even, they'd call each other and get squared away and move on. It made me appreciate Dale much more. he was often seen as a guy who could dish it out but not take a bit of his own medicine. In the heat of the moment, he'd be fiery, but he'd always call the driver he dumped (or was dumped by) the next day and sort things out.

 

Also,
Rusty expounds on the infamous sardines event, where Dale was ticked at him and put an open can of sardines under Rusty's seat. The team couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from and he ran the car all weekend smelling like hot sardines. The following week at Bristol, Rusty stole Dale's steering wheel off the roof of his car prior to the command to fire engines. Dale's team was running around freaking out because the race was about to start and Dale didn't have a steering wheel. Right before they pulled off pit road, Rusty held Dale's wheel out his window. Dale called him after the race and said: "alright, we're square now."

 

Don't really see it even from that incident....

 

I haven't seen any quote from Kraus on the incident besides this:

I miss hearing Eli Gold on Sunday afternoon on MRN.

 

Unfortunately, Eli turned out to be a dirty old man and got canned. Must’ve been pretty serious, ‘cause they swept it away ASAP.

 

DW is fun , witty , sincere , knowledgeable and just all around good guy in my opinion . I'm gonna miss him .
