Wow what a finish! We were jumping up and down high-fiving in the living room.

Good for the 12. Kind of a wasted spot moving into the round of 8 but he deserved a win. At least it was not the 22 or the 17! Now let's go #9!! NEED A WIN!!!

I would have had to drive all the way back. My dad couldn't get off and I might could have but it wasn't worth 5 hours drive time today when I could make money instead

Q: were there ANY cars that crossed the finish line without any damage? Keselowski and Busch looked like modified cars. Blaney had a flat tire and a busted fender. As far as I could tell the #13 was pretty clean?

Ross Chastain to the #10 Kaulig Racing Xfinity car in 2020. Good move! He’s an automatic playoff contender, maybe even a championship contender with Bell, Reddick, and possibly Custer moving up.

Wrecky Spinhouse to the #37 JTG/D cup car. Not so sure about that move. Not necessarily sure if it’s a step up or down for him, but it’s a downgrade for JTG/D for sure. Hope their body shop is ready...

Bob Pockrass reported yesterday Bowyer’s back in the #14 for next year, but seems like it’s just a one year deal. Makes you wonder if he’s just gonna keep that seat warm for Larson in 2021. Also opens the question about Suarez and the #41 and if he comes back, does SHR form an alliance with Go Fas to get Custer in the #32 cup car next year.

JTG has taken lots of steps forward the past few years... and now they take steps backwards with shithouse.

I think this can be a step forward. Ricky brings along the tricks he learned while at Roush. We know how secretive the Cat in the Hat is about his engineering (remember Tape-Gate at Talladega a few years ago?). I'm copying and pasting from my previous post that compare Ricky's numbers with some others from the same era. He's not bad, just not great:

    Driver/ Starts/% Laps Complete/DNFs/Avg. Finish

    Stenhouse: 249 / 95% / 28 / 20.3
    Truex Jr: 508 / 96% / 59 / 15.9
    Almendinger: 371 / 94% / 39 / 21.3
    Almirola: 309 / 93 / 38 / 19.8

I like Suarez but he has proved he's a mid teen driver and not sure if that's good enough for SHR .

Would not go with the V6 camaro because no matter what you will get owned by an SS.
    Dodge, just no.
The titan I doubt you would be happy with.
370 is fun but not really your style.
Why not look for a nice low miles SS that is older but a V8 or look for a C6. I paid 23k for an 06 C6 with 13,000 miles. They are out there.

Not really into racing it... I only drive my truck twice a week now... more into sound but the 6th gen V8 is an option if one pops up into that range
    Any reasoning?

So you think the RT is pretty reliable? 5.7L with an auto?

Probably means the cheat he has is pretty good... or Bowyer will be up front with it...
