Penske pays their wages and until a new Steering wheel holder can be found BUT that stupid p.o.s. in the red shirt needs to be tossed for this season if not next year also and I think he was wearing a Shell emblem..... Maybe Penske has a "heart to heart" with entire group , then if Joey "accidently" trips and breaks something in a Race Hauler...……. too bad, life sucks

 

Kudos to Hamlin's crewmember who kept him from slamming the pavement skull-first. I hope NASCAR penalizes the #22 crew member for that move.

EDIT: If penalties are tossed around Joey needs one for the slap, Denny needs one for going after Joey while his crew was repeatedly saying "stop," and that dude in the red shirt needs a vacation until next February.

Moving forward, NASCAR should adopt something similar to NHL policy*. Let the two offending parties duke it out 1:1 until somebody is on the ground, crews are strictly forbidden from touching anyone, even their own driver.


*is this still policy? I haven't watched since the '90s.

As bad as the 18 has been performing he is better off getting taken out. At least he would have an excuse as to why the 18 sucks right now. Maybe he is trying to be Jimmy Johnson for Halloween or some shit!

 

He's only 27 points behind the leader and 3rd overall. he's been caught up in a lot of situations but he's not in a slump. I think he's just not as mentally sharp as he usually is. Media is giving him space, Jenna Fryer is even siding with him on Twitter, so something is up. I've heard it's not so much him but Samantha is suffering from depression after losing their baby this Summer. That takes a HUGE toll on a marriage and the recovery is slow if nonexistent. Word is they'll announce a separation at season's end as Samantha has several contract deals that are tied to kyle's business contracts. Add too, if there was proven infidelity, it is said that Gibbs has a contract clause to cancel the driver's contract due to infidelity, though this is debatable since Hamlin isn't even married but has two kids.

 

Damn! Had no idea all that was up.

 

YO, if Larson or Elliott get into the final four, they have the statistical advantage over everyone but Harvick to win the whole dang deal! But that Harvick sure is a closer!

Unfortunately it's only for one race. Should be for the season IMO. Hamlin could have been seriously injured if his crew member hadn't grabbed him to slow his fall. He could have hit his head on the pavement or even gotten some broken bones. Head injury, broken arm, shoulder injury or collar bone and his season would have been over. Glad to see that didn't happen.

 

Gibbs let's 2 other drivers run around having sex out of wedlock... that'd be kind of stupid to fire someone over when Denny has 2 kids put of wedlock and truex has been with sherry how many years and wont Marry her?

 

Sherry will not marry Martin because she does not want him to be a widower because of here health issues. Also both of those guys are in committed relationships and not screwing around on someone they are committed to so not really apples to apples here.

 

Exactly. Premarital sex and adultery are 2 different things. On the other hand, Gibbs would be crazy to get rid of Kyle.

Kurt had it made at Roush... then even better at Penske... but nOoOoOo... had to go make trouble and land at Phoenix Racing. (not that I'm mad... owner Adam Finch is a local and I'm friends with his brother Wayne... got to attend a new year's party in 2011 where I got to meet Kurt. )

 

Gibbs is a devout Christian so he should know in the bible where Jesus talks about 1 sin is not greater than another... would look terrible on Gibbs for it

 

Dude I grew up in the bible belt in the south. I do not recall anywhere in the bible that says all sins are equal. I doubt JGR would dump Kyle anyway and I doubt anything is wrong with Samantha and Kyle, just think that team has hit a snag and Kyle does not handle not being the top dog well. Stack it however you like but a man standing by a woman and raising a family being devoted to each other even though not married and cheating on someone you married is not nearly the same. Not to mention someone who is clearly out of your league! If it happened. As for Sherry and Martin, everyone should give Martin cudos for how he has stood by Sherry. Talk about for better or worse! Martin is a man with a ton of integrity!!

Now, would Joe Gibbs fire Kyle, I doubt it. Might he take Kyle's success away and award it to someone who is more in line with his values? Perhaps. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
