JJ is sixth on the all time win list with 83 wins . Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip each have 84 wins . I bet he would love to win one or two more races before he goes .

 

we have gone down this road before, and the fact that Chad is not there is why I want him to win and then maybe folks will give him some credit for what he has done.

 

I've always said that Chad was a big reason for Jimmie's success, and likely so. But, what has Chad done for William Byron, besides some poles. So, maybe it wasn't all Chad.

Also, Jimmie has nothing to prove in the sport, other than winning without Chad. So, I hope he wins a couple next season.

 

At this level, I think it takes a great team, it’s not just one person that makes it, but one person can screw it all up.
