I just bought a 2019 taco and the nav says “no sd card”. Indeed no card in the slot. Can I plug my phone in, bypass entune and use my iPhone maps?

No, you need the SD card, the iphone maps only work with 2020 models.

The SD card is pretty pricey, probably close to 300$ but quote one at a dealer anyway.
