We have a 2019 TRD SPORT, 19,00 mile purchased from carmax(not liking them right now) 2021, CEL came on and they’re are saying we may need “ head work”. My question is what would cause that on such a young vehicle? Have you had any experience with this issue?

Definitely not common, no. There have been a few reports of it though.

Same issue, different cylinder. If you are still under warranty get it fixed and move on. If you decide to sell youll have to disclose the issue to the buyer.
