Have you guys had enough of my dog yet? What am I saying... of course not!

Took Tioga Pass to get home. Pretty sure it's a crime to drive by Yosemite Valley and not spend a few minutes there.

El Capitan. Can't see them in the picture but there were climbers 1/3 of the way up the face. Crazy bastards.

And minus the cost of maintenance and repairs. Wait four years and you can get a 2020 model 80% off retail.

Depreciation rate is probably about the same.

Not sure what ones you're looking at but the 2010s are still in the 60k range. I wouldn't be getting anything near new anytime in the future. Too rich for my blood.

I was exaggerating, but the depreciation on those types of vehicles is laughable.

Most defenders are 6-figure on CL. I mean they're cool, but not that cool.

Update: got my new drive shaft from South Bay Driveline.

Steve and the guys there did a 24 hour turn around to make a new drive shaft + rebalance my spare as best as they could (theres a dent or two and Steve said theres vibration around 2200). Looking forward to getting it installed this weekend and putting the spare back into the spares box.

Never asked but I’ll shoot him a text next week and ask. He’s leaving for Mexico in the morning.

If they built yours the same as mine, front section is 2.5" dia .134" wall, rear 3.0" dia .125" wall. Spicer 1310 joints. Might have gone heavier on yours, though.
