Tiffany and I would probably be down for a Sawmill day trip. :D
Will have to see how the rest of this week goes before fully committing though.

Saturday group could always lead the way, setup the range, couple of us may stay overnight and wait for the sunday group to show up.

this is assuming everyone has the same intentions (locations, shooting activity)

Sounds good to me. I am definitely on for Sunday day trip.

That sounds like a good plan. I guess finding a good location will be the key because I don't think I want to spend 4 or 5 hrs driving there and then coming back the same day. Fernando's second home sounds like a good option. Plenty of trails close by for people who want to get their wheeling fix and pew pew fix.

Can't do overnight. I could roll in with you on Saturday if you go in early enough. But not too early.

I'd be down for whatever (pending bill payment and financial surplus for a trip). I've never been to Fernandos place so idk what kinda ranges we'd get there, or if my truck will plow through the snow/die on the trail lol

I'm pretty peculiar about what i'd consider a quality shooting spot :crapstorm:

What does that spot look like now? Fernandos Hideaway shooting spot is subpar compared to this.

what kind of clearings/distance can we get at the other spot?

Its a quality spot, 200yd+ for multiple shooters/targets, good lighting (black steel/smaller targets can be hard to see when its in/out of the shade). 250+ if we draw back and shut down the pistol/25yd side that is off to the right.

Im sure its covered in snow, i havnt been back there since veterans day. Its at 6500' so, not too far off snow-wise from what you guys played in last weekend I'd imagine.

Last January there wasnt too much snow up there, but truth is i just dont know.

I have a few other spots up in that area that are slightly lower in elevation/easier to get to, but were looking at more of a 100-150yd line with 200-250 being absolute max if we wanted to hike through some snow.

I wouldnt be staying the night (solo) without a crew coming in forsure on sunday, so Ferando's place might be a better choice if thats where the rest of the group wants to go.

Damn...250 yards? Are you guys trying to qualify for Olympics or just showing off skills? Lol
