Just a score on how high you can throw 1 tire up on before you leave a tire in the air.
Personally I like throwing tires in the air...

    Google says
With this measurement you calculate the score like this: Since a 20 degree ramp rises at .345 inches per inch of travel, divide the height of the lifted tire by .345 (for 20 degrees). Then divide that number by your vehicles wheelbase. Multiply that number by 1000. The result is your RTI score on a 20 degree ramp.

Thats based off a forklift measurement. If you read tge article thats what it says. The ramp itself is distance traveled up the ramp divided by wheel base multiplied by 1000. Mine was a 613, traveled 68" up the ramp, with a 111" wheel base

Means you can climb up on stuff and maybe get hung up?:mudding:

I had thought it had some thing to do with articulation? Or how much the truck could twist? Maybe. I think next time we get two ramps and jump the trucks over cars, that I can understand.

Not too much in real world situations. Even though a vehicle has more flex, one with a longer/shorter wheelbase may make it up easier. My 4runner flexes a lot more in the back due to links rather than leafs. But I’ve been hung up on climbs where a longer truck walks right up it.

We went wheeling after the meet, I had to work at this spot to get up. Adam walked right up it having a foot + longer wheel base. All depends on the situation.
