Well lady’s and gentlemen, I’m going to be commuting almost 109 to work and back (it’s worth the pay) so I needed something that had low miles and comfortable to drive. Picked this up Thursday evening and am absolutely in love. I love my 01 as well but had a offer come in today on it so we will see if it’s on to its new owner.

    Oh look, another mod....

Nice truck and welcome to TW!

Side Note: I've noticed that you manual transmission guys are like vegans. You feel the need to tell EVERYONE that you have a manual transmission; even when we didn't ask! :)

No one asked if he had a Tacoma either… oh, wait - this is a Tacoma forum!
    :D

Perhaps it is so often mentioned because there are so many Autos and so few M/Ts…

And it would be difficult for MT divers to bear the embarrassment of someone assuming they drive an automatic!

109 mile commute? Why the Tacoma then and not something with better gas mileage? I love my truck don't get me wrong but if I'm not camping or wheeling, I'm taking my wife's Jetta, ha. 35 mpg or better and it has a turbo. Lots of fun to drive.
