Regretting buying the first year of the civic redesign. All sorts of little things that were taken care of the following g year.

Say what you want, but I had a 2007 AWD v6 RAV and it was a blast to drive. 270hp in such a small package. Very good road manners but poor Toyota build quality. They don't put the V6 in them anymore, sadly.

We have a 17' Rav4 SE in Purple. I've worked on Toyotas my whole career and the 13-18's have been very reliable, only torque converter issues really.

This new motor that came in the 18 Camry is a new workhorse, so far we've only seen issues with the updated 2GR, not with the 4 banger.

I would still hold off, for reliability reasons, and if financing the rates are dreadful the first model year of a refresh.

Hey! I had a ‘98 I loved that thing, we have a 2014 now but I’d rather still have the 98. It was black with unpainted black fender flares bumpers and side cladding and no power anything.
I think that was the least vagina model.
I took that thing off road, was no Jeep or Taco but did pretty well, I wouldn’t dare take a newer one off road.

I’ll have to try and dig up a picture, but this was before camera phones but I do know I got a digital camera while I owned it.

I bought a used low mileage 2017 SE for my wife two weeks ago. I haven't driven much but like the driving position and seats much better than in my Tacoma. I do prefer the look of the front-end of the 2019. The grill is a big improvement.

Reviews so far have been meh in a market where people gush over the Honda CRV. New Passport looks intriguing too.

This makes no sense. I say this as a former Subaru and Toyota owner: '77 Celica, '03 Outback, '12 WRX, '17 WRX.

I'm tempted to say that's what she said, but I won't...

    Ahem.

That was a great model right there. Subaru also had a turbo Forester in the past and from '17-18. It's unfortunate how these companies used to produce small SUV's with some performance cred, but now have dropped back to sub-200 HP.

Well I had a CRV for quite awhile--my son currently has it, still going with >250K miles--and they get the job done, but not fast compared to turbo sports sedans like the WRX, even Camry and Accord.

I just went to Toyota’s website and the 2019s on there don’t look like this? Maybe it’s last years model they’re still showing but it says 2019.

Edit: you have to pick the adventure trim

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
You may or not know - Toyota owns 16-18% of Subaru. Therefore they do a lot of co-operating I am sure
We own a 15 Outback limited with "eyesight" and our 17 Tacoma - I like to think of this as a perfect combo.
