First Post Here - First Tacoma -purchased Saturday

I tired searching the boards and could not locate a post specific to my question -so here it is...

    - I overlooked putting a roof rack on my Sport W/ Crew Cab....

Can someone provide me a link on where I can order a 2019 Roof Rack?

I called the dealer and provided me a part number...but the person I was speaking with was saying that this was just for the cross bars.. I watched a video and it shows the roof rack as an all in one combo where the rails go on and then the crossbars unfold and get bolted to the other rail.
The part number is as follows:

    PT 273-35170-CB...

It appears that this part number is replacing the previous roof rack and rail combo that was for the 2018 and prior Taco's

    Thanks in advance...

Your dealer's parts department will be the easiest place to order that, and also the most expensive, probably.

    How big is the kayak?

Are you sure you want to go OEM? Thule and Yakima make very nice roof systems specifically for boats and bikes.

Or you can be cool and look at some of the custom-shop roof racks people post on here.

Oh, and congrats on the new taco!

I’m pretty sure I want the oem racks - they look sleek...

I won’t use the upper rack too often - and my yaks up top aren’t that heavy 12’ & 40#’s or so. I think that they’ll be fine in some j hooks...

The dealer was vague and couldn’t answer my questions. I’ll look at the pet if they have it in stock.

I have less than fifty miles on my truck and I went to pop my hood and the latch is malfunctioning- it won’t open or close.

Not off to a good start...

If you reconsider other options, here is a write up I did on mine. I have the Rhino Rack. The factory rack is rated at 100#, 2 kayaks gets you there pretty quick. It has been a while since I priced the OEM rack, but it was the most affordable option at the time.
