I purchased a new 2019 Tacoma at Rusty Wallace Toyota in Tennessee. Since I drove it off lot it has had a rough idle, and when you stop on a steep grade and the truck rolls back, the motor will shut off and the low engine pressure light will come on or a high transmission temp light. We have taken it back twice to the dealer and they say they are unable to find or recreate the problem.. they also say they have never heard of any Tacoma having this issue. I have saw numerous posts about this on here, can anyone tell me what a GOOD service tech has diagnosed these problems as.

Do you have blue or white smoke coming from the exhaust?

First off, welcome to TW ma'am!
Is the area where this happens close enough to the dealership that they can ride with you? With these 2019's corporate is demanding freeze-frame data for faults before they will do much. They will hook up a data logger and you can take them for a ride! Were there any other lights that came on or check engine light?
    Sounds like a vacuum leak.

    Ok.
If the truck rolls backwards for any considerable distance while in drive (say 5 to 10 feet) the truck will stall with a auto.
Is this a auto or manual transmission?

How steep? Check the oil on level ground.
Could be low tranny fluid too.

Are you sure it’s not the traction control/hill assist thingy light? When I’m stopped a hill and roll back, the truck kinda stalls, beeps and clicks, the orange dash light flashes, and then it goes.

If either of those two conditions occur, there is a log of those events. In addition, if it truly had a rough idle it would be repeatable as well. So either the dealer does not know how to check data or you are mistaking your traction control light for something else.
Can you repeat it at will?
Why are you letting an automatic roll back that far on a hill in drive?

Lastly, there have not been numerous people that have posted about your specific problem, at least since 2017.

thank you hoch..that solves one problem. {And I came up on a downed tree from a storm on 1 lane road, after working a 13 hour shift & instead of putting it in R I simply rolled back a few feet to turn) They did admit that there was a rough idle, stated that it was from the "new" 2 injector firing and switching between the one and the 2 injectors. But there are threads with numerous (at least 4 or 5 I have read) complaints of same or similar problems...that's how I ended up here! Regardless, we have driven a friends 2019 that does not have the rough idle, (sitting still the tach goes up and down even) and has what feels like a constant miss from 20mph to 60mph. Maybe that is the injector system, if so I wish I had bought the truck my son bought, which is an 09 with 150k and we own a Taco (2000) with almost 350k on it and runs like a top
