Hello I currently own a 2011 SR5 Tacoma and im trying to buy a 2019 double cab Tacoma with a 4 cyl I want red and it seems no one has red ones in the SR version . I went on toyota site and first they say you get a SR5 in a 4 cyl but when you go to build it only the 6 cyl is on the list . My question is......does toyota offer a 4 cyl auto transmission SR5 double cab tacoma ?

You can get it in a 4 cyl, but it's only available in 2WD

Short answer to your question, Does Toyota offer a Sr5 Double cab with 2.7 4 cyl auto. YES.
Long answer to your problem, The toyota "build" site does not let you build a truck to your specs. What it does is based on your zip code it will show you what is in your area at the time you look. As you can see from the other posts, you can have 5 different people from 5 different regions and you will see 5 different configurations. Example, post number 2 says only in Access Cab, number 3 says in double cab with 2 wd, number 4 says only in SR. When I looked, it seems I get the same results as number 3 and red is not available. If I change the zip code to 90210 it is now available in quicksand. Good luck with your hunt.

Well now I understand whats going on its all about your location . That's why I got conflicting information and the dealer never said anything to us cause he didn't want us to drive a little ways to get what I want. This site and its members have been very helpful I will let everyone know how I do thanks again......Dennis

Sadly, I found the best way to find inventory is to use other search engines, like cars.com. Some things are easy to search by, others are harder. Toyota makes it very difficult (even on dealer websites) to separate SB/LB. Double check everything on discoveries as often inferno and red are confused. You can always use Toyota's VIN tool to validate anything you find (Dealers almost always post the VIN): https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification

Well after many days of waiting for the truck I wanted I was not able to find a 4 cyl 4 door red tacoma or any 4 door tacoma except a 4 by 4 or a white one so I got a metallic gray tacoma with the v6 the mpg is only 1 mpg difference so i'm happy with that there just aren't any trucks like I wanted in this area and the dealer says they don't know what they will get until the hauler gets here with it so bottom line I'm happy with what I got thanks again for all the helpful replies.

So why did you not hold out for a Red V6 Tacoma?
