2012 are 55 W H11. The fogs on it also run h11 and it produces a yellow light similar to tacoma.
I've ran blue tinted from European markets in tacoma and they could not match the color of 2012.
So it its either the number of projectors or the projector quality.

The lights are not causing an issue with color unless the lenses themselves are severely yellowed. Here's how you check it out. You buy brand new bulbs or better yet, buy one and move it from light to light to light, then with a good quality color temperature meter, measure the actual color temperature in Kelvin of each light. Your eyes can't measure color temperature by themselves. They can only determine rough comparative differences. I use a Sekonic C-700U.

I came from a 2017 F-350. That thing had four H13s that were on all the time. With four H13s, the light out the front of the truck was horrible. I’m pleased with the stock halogens on the Tacoma. I knew I would be. I also have a Sienna with essentially the same headlights.
