What's up everyone! Two things have been happening lately... Wondering if anyone has experience with these problems. 2019 Tacoma Pro.

    1. Stock JBL head unit continuously restarts every 1 to 5 minutes. Dealer did an update Friday 3/27/20. No luck. Bluetooth on or off, USB lightning cord plugged in or unplugged, unit still loop restarts. Can not find any parallels or links to what could be causing the issue. Dealer is looking to replace the head unit. (praying they don't screw something else up).

    2. I noticed my climate control was off today. I never turn off the automatic climate control. Now that I think about it, it was turned off the other day as well. Again, I leave it on all the time. Something is causing it to say "loose its memory" of its last setting before and after a start. Ill have to pay more attention of if its turning off during a drive or at start up. Does anyone know what controls the climate controls memory?

Could these things be voltage related? My battery sits at 12.6 - 12.8 volts about an hour after its been shut off. Just food for thought. Let me know if there are any tech problem solvers out there.

Everything has been dynamite until a week ago! Very strange. That's my biggest fear with the new trucks... They have electronic everything. Let it be known, everything electronic has a MTBF and they all will fail eventually.

Granted I've only had my '19 Pro for a few weeks but I've had no issues with the radio turning off (just sounding like shit!) or the climate control.

Good luck getting it sorted out.

I to had radio problems just like yours with my 2019. it had to do with my apple iphone not having the latest ios update. updated my phone no issues now. Now 4000 miles later not one single head unit crash. Hope this helps.

ha, this might be what my problem was recently! I guess whenever my head into starts resetting the first thing I should do is upgrade my phone.
