    Hello!

First actually post on this website so thanks in advance for any feedback.

I picked up a new 2019 Tacoma OR back about a month or so ago and realized today that randomly my passenger side door has an issue with the power window function. For some reason the driver side controls cannot roll down or up at all to the passenger side... yet the passenger side controls will roll it down fully but only up for about 3 inches at a time.

Does anyone know the cause of this or heard this being an issue?

Could be that you need to reprogram the window. I just replaced a window regulator on a car and had to unplug the motor and remove the window motor. After putting everything back, the window was hesitant to move and wouldn't roll all the way down.

Yeah it does sound like I need to take it to the dealer and have them look at it. I reset the power windows already and nothing worked.

I do have the extended warranty but the truck only has 1500 miles on it... I should have no problem taking it in right?

The warranty is a performance contract between the owner of the vehicle and Toyota...yes they’ll fix it probably gonna be a new switch or new window regulator or relay.
