    Confirmed the "premium" package speakers are complete garbage. mostly plastic housing and a small speaker component. New JBL GSX628's are a big improvement.

    Easy install, but don't forget to pop out the plastic piece behind the door handle to reach the screw. Took me a while to figure that out.

    Good to know. I'm gonna do mine in spring, if I still have this truck. I want to sound mat doors right away. 10 degrees here right now, and snowing.

    Did you find anything in 6x9 yet the gx9628 aet 2.3 ohm. Also are you changing dash speakers? I see
    $70 gx328 3-1/2" coaxial car audio loudspeakers
    gx328 are 2.3 ohm also 3-1/2.
