sorry to hear about this, mine was manufactured in Mehico in Jan of 2019, no problems. That sucks. And you cant see everything when you "inspect" it. I know that for sure. Mine had a couple minor dings in the roof that my dealership had the PDR guy fix under warranty. Oh, and I think the Super white does not have clearcoat. I read that on here in multiple places, but not sure if its true.

Mine has at least one. It’s on the tailgate. I’ll have it looked at during its first service.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just going to keep it. I hate to get it sprayed. Time will tell. I know nothing is perfect.

It does have a clearcoat it is just mixed into the paint, hence the name single stage.

No prob bud! I've had 2 SWs, they hold up just as well as the other colors.

I’d live with them as they are. If they correct it, you’ll likely end up with more orange peel than you want, plus who knows what else. After a few months you’ll likely also have a few other tiny stone chips etc and these little things won’t be as noticeable.

My spicy taco was a Baja Mexico taco and so was my 15 neither with anything besides the usual orange peel/swirls. I’d make Toyota fix that. Think about it OP you’re basically telling them it’s okay for you and probably others to be paying all that money for poor QC and end product.

That’s what I thought when I found my paint nipple. How can it go through QC, PDI, etc and make it all the way to a customer.

Whats the chances of returning the truck for another one to the dealer? It has 38 miles on it. I think it's going to be a fight. Any ideas thoughts?

I would guess that the paperwork you signed has them covered as far as returning it goes . If it was mine I would probably make them paint it . It would bother me to much knowing it was messed up .

No its not normal, as you've seen here, many of us don't have any of these, myself included.

I’d get the dealer to look at it, and go from there. Doesnt seem acceptable to me. Like other guys said, if they don’t know about it there not going to fix it. Even if they do know about it, if nobody brings it to there attention there gonna let them all slide through like that.

The future of The Tacoma lies in your hands OP :p
