I enjoy playing "guess the model" when i see one approaching in my mirror or in front. There are only a couple differences between that and a Pilot from the front

Dude ... I started a thread. A dialogue, a conversation. I don’t understand why you feel the need to be such a dick.

    moving on...

I have some things I don’t like but overall it’s a great truck. Perfect size in my opinion

My 2017 has remote start with the factory fob. press the lock button three times and it'll start. The only thing is when you open the door it will turn off the truck.

Thank you! This Saturday will mark 3 weeks that I have owned the truck and learning more about it each day. I am happy with my choice and will surely be making some mods as time and $$$ permit. My 2002 Tacoma, I fully expected to run at least another year or two. However, it had other ideas and started going south on me in a hurry. So I was sort of forced into replacing it before I was ready. The love of my life just had to have a 2019 Camry XSE which we bought in November 2018 to replace a fine running 2004 Camry with almost 256,000 miles on it. So I went from no car loans for about 12 years to suddenly having two of them. Not horrible, just a little unexpected.

Not sure but I think we are just pulling your chain. Once the cage proves rattleable, watch out! (IOW get a thick skin) I don't really care what transmission folks choose but let's face it - your OP came across as 8.6/10 on the whinometer. I get it, a couple real issues mixed in with stuff in the manual (yes I too have posted questions that are answered in that tome) . Yeah the stock tires are terrible, but damn list them twice. That was classic!

You bought a truck with a hood scoop. It's RIGHT THERE. Then you whine about it? WTF??? COME ON MAN.

I love this line "Couple other things that could just be me being anal so I will leave them off the list". Yep.

I guess I will wrap this up with something someone told ME a couple months ago: Toyota is not the go to auto company for technology.

5.) door unlocked when you touch the handle. I love the idea if I’m going to have to have the key Farb in my pocket the door will unlock as I tend to open it. That is a wonderful thing. But WTF, it only unlocks the driver side door? So then I have to unlock all the doors to let other people in? That is in sane. Why can’t it work that I open my door and every unlocks. And why the e’f can’t I open the passenger side door with the key fob in my pocket and touching the handle. Just dumb.

This is programmable as well. Mine came from the factory set up like yours (driver’s door only open when back of door handle touched) but I re-programmed it to open ALL the doors. Don’t know if it can be set up to open front doors only? Check the manual, it’s in there. I read the whole thing. Ouch….
I didn't think i'd like this feature but it has turned out to be one of my favorites.

If you're being chased by a bunch of bad guys after dark you want only the driver's door to unlock.
