So I bought this truck used and I was looking into buying new tires. Shop told me I could put 285/75/16 no problem but everything I read says I’ll rub without some cutting. Unless when I got this truck it already had some what of a lift not sure. Please don’t roast me to hard new to this first truck I’ve ever owned

a cab mount chop would help the most if you get a 285.

    A few.
You have a spacer lift there on the front. Depends on what wheel u have on as to whether its likely to rub. Whats the rear suspension look like?

Send picture looking under the back of truck toward front focused on the leaf spring to help us determine rear lift. Larger tires (this size at least) aren't an issue for the rear end just front.

Im running 295/75/16 and i rubbed A LOT before the cab mount chop even with a 2.5 inch lift. You will need a cab mount chop and remove your front mud faps in order to fit a 285. You also might need to cut your bumper liner as well. You dont need anything for the back though.
