This would have been better than playing the stock market if one had bought a few

I called my old dealer a few months ago and they quoted me over $450 for one. I tried explaining what I wanted and that it was only $52 online for the OEM garnish but the guy was rude so I gave them a bad Yelp review. Their Yelp response was that “Toyota USA has grouped parts together” and they couldn’t sell the garnish separately......Maybe that price includes the grille or the radar unit??.......Probably just more dealer bullshit talk though.....

FYI- I bought a cheap eBay-Chinese-knockoff garnish before buying an OEM one. It didn’t work properly and my dash light came on constantly.

Thanks for all this info. I've already installed my grill and what not, but I'm saving that part number for the sensor wire harness because my OCD did not like having to half-ass secure the shorter harness on my TRD Off Road to make it work. Since it's only $20 I might replace it just to calm my mind down.

To cover the TSS sensor with the pro grill since it’s not behind the Toyota emblem like it is on the stock grills.

I didn’t know about it having a different harness until after I did mine. I did a great job of rerouting my factory harness and it is completely hidden. A also had 2 nuts laying in my tool box that worked perfectly on the garnish. First picture is the stock working and grill. The next pictures are the new grill with rerouted stock working. No new holes drilled. Then the nuts I had on the garnish.

This is what I get when I put in the part number.

I also searched for Pro grille, TRD Pro etc. Nothing. Did you call them or what?

No. When I ordered it a couple of weeks ago I had googled the part number and it was one of the first things that popped up.

I posted one yesterday on here and it did the same thing. That’s really weird. Either way, but then while they are still palatable.
