Mine came from Amazon a few weeks ago. $58 shipped. Also wrapped in paper.

Do you know who the seller is? The ones that show OEM are $128+. The cheap ones are Chinese clones and all under $45.

Ok so based on my recent experience, the ones that come wrapped in plastic seem to be fake. I ended up getting another one from xpectrum on Ebay after seeing positive reviews from others on the thread. The new one came wrapped in paper exactly how the other OEM ones came without plastic. The OEM one feels a bit more solid especially around the edges. When you hold both in your hand, you can easily tell them apart. However when looking at pictures, they look almost identical. I've noticed the logo next to A1 is more apparent on the OEM one. In the pictures, the OEM one is on left and the fake one is on the right. I hope this helps others as I had no idea.

The most obvious thing I can tell between the paper wrapped vs the plastic/boxes ones is the grid in the back. Seems like that was a manufacturing stamp or something? The non OEM ones dont seem to have them or they are not as pronounced. When I was initially looking for them, I looked up OEM ones and noticed the grid. So when looking on eBay I made sure to look for listings that showed the back and looked for the grid. That's why I was a little nervous when I ordered from xpectrum because it showed it but he didnt show it in the wrapping.

I’ve noticed that xspectrum is sold out now. I may sell mine unopened from xspectrum if I end up getting the grille from tacovinyl instead of the oem grille from Gunny.

In the photos are you comparing OEM to the one you received from xspectrum?

No the OEM one is from xspectrum. I purchased the other one from another vendor on Ebay

Well I ended up buying the grille from tacovinyl. Now I won’t need the garnish. Pic of the grille like I ordered in cement that someone posted in a review.

I ordered my garnish from eBay seller WF-auto. I had high hopes but it came wrapped in plastic

Yeah, that one doesn't look OEM. Comparing the really helpful side by side above, the non-OEM garnish seem to have a slightly oversized print of the grey lines and rectangles. To my eye, the OEM has a bit smaller rectangles and thinner connecting lines along with a darker color print. Hope you can return it.

Yea, that looks fake. I just checked mine, the shapes have a 3D look to them. You have the grayish block and then there is like a black outline around it. Yours look like they are just flat? Looks like it's really hard to tell by the pictures.

    Hopefully you can return

Decided to run it for now. I’m into this setup for 103$. Gotta love a 50$ Craigslist Pro grill

When exactly did the OEM grille come down in price so much? Didn't it used to be like $450?

I saw people buying them for $350-$400 on here when I ordered it from Camelback Toyota for like $128 or something.

IDK why people did not search around.

Definitely fake, I bought one from them too and then told them to stop selling it as oem and they keep telling me its real, I have real ones, THESE are fake, they're much better than the first fakes I came across though. It just isn't right to sell them as OEM for OEM price if they're not.
