    Let me get something straight- I don’t have any expertise, especially when it comes to wiring diagrams/electrical. My posts are really questions/assumptions and looking for confirmation. That quoted post, I left out the question mark.

    If only BadFlounder would post the pics of the whole package opened and does the continuity check I could clear more stuff...

    That part definitely ain’t happening! :cool: ...but here are some closeups of the actual body harness connectors/wires. :)

    EDIT: Btw, I’m considering trying to install this tomorrow if I can get motivated enough. I’ll be sure and update here if I do!

    Btw, I did check under my 2020 and confirmed that the grommet used in the instructions is not in use by any other wiring. I know some suspected perhaps it was used by the supposedly pre-wired 2020 bed lighting, which perhaps could indicate why it’s listed as a “conflict” in this tailgate lock instructions.

    I thought the bed lighting harness ran along the drivers side to access the cargo light switch?

    @caribe makaira
    Looks like the lime green is used on the factory connector side while the piece that goes into the connector block is grey.

    Goes in (fuse) green cones out grey

    Then the other fuse looks like red in red out. But what’s the twisted blue and grey for outside the harness

    @BadFlounder the cap on the fuse comes off, it's not like your going to disable/break the harness, remove the fuse and with a Multimeter check continuity on the side opposite of the red on one and green on the other, we know where those end. I'd like to know where the fuses are tied into. on these connectors:
    [IMG]
    But in special this one:
    [IMG]
    as it has a row of whites.
    Do you have a Multimeter and know how to use it?

    Do both fuse holders, test every pin on the 10p connector, do both sides, then the other fuse site. It would be of great help. Thank you for the pics.

    Just started following this thread. I have a 2020 TRD Pro with factory bed lights. The grommet under the passenger seat is being used. I have no idea if it’s for the bedlights. Does this mean I can’t use the oem kit or pop n lock? Anyone else have this issue?

    I believe that is the grommet on the front facing side of the black plastic shield. We are talking about the grommet on the rear-side of that black plastic shield. The one in front (the one I think you have pictured) is in use on my 2020 TRD Sport without the bed light kit. Is the grommet to the rear of that bracket unused as it is in my photo earlier in the thread? That rear-side one is the one mentioned in the remote bed lock install instructions.

    EDIT: Yeah, that is definitely the front grommet. Scroll up and look at my photo and you can see the same grommet on the right side. The other grommet I highlighted with the red arrow is the one in the install doc and is unused on my 2020.
