So, since I got this truck a few months ago (if you read my previous posts I’ve had some issues) I felt a vibration sort of buzzing in the floorboard and gas pedal. It’s intermittent in that, say, if I’m going 25 mph, the vibration lasts for a second or 2 and repeats about every 3 to 4 seconds. frequency increases a little if I speed up to 35. Beyond that other sounds seem to overpower so don’t notice as much. I recently got a set of oem tires and rims (17”) that came off a 2023 trd pro. These are much quieter than the 285 70r16 I had so the vibration now is much more noticeable.
I researched what I could find on here and found a few posts about the needle bearing on driver side being the culprit? Anyone out there have any experience with this? Is it something I should worry about? Trucks been running good so far. Only problem is I was hoping after the repair for the p11ee my gas mileage would be better. Even with these newer tires seems to be about 16 mpg? ( everything stock) I guess another topic for another time…
But as for this vibration, I hope I’m describing it ok. It’s like an amplified cell phone on vibrate in your gas pedal and floor board. And only lasts for a second or 2 and happens every 3 seconds. Just an odd feeling. Let me add its most noticeable on smooth paved roads at 25-35 mph?
I did bring it in for this but service said it was probably the tires. But now that I have newer tires and it’s still doing it? Thanks for any help. So far, this forum has been a godsent in helping to deal with the dealer where i bought truck. Thanks!

I think there is a TSB involving the drive shaft angle or something like that
If I remember correctly. I saw it here somewhere

I'm experiencing that exact thing. More profound after the lift. 2016. There was always a little something since I bought it certified used. Dealer 'couldn't feel it'.
The ECGS bushing is most likely my solution as every other check comes back good. Just haven't gotten around to it.
Edit: A good way to check is put it in 4x4 on a straight road. See if the vibe goes away in 4x4.

Same here. Haven’t had a chance to get around to it but after watching a few videos on it, seems like most likely fix is replacing needle bearing with anECGS bushing. I did go under and feel the axle play which was very noticeable on the left/drivers side compared to right. Now hopefully the fix fixes the vibration mentioned above. I’ll try and update when I get it done as to end result. Thanks all.
