Well they did my leafs and added the shim and still nothing. And resurfaced my drums. Its super frustrating. But mine does it with my boat attached too. Idk whats going on to be honest. All I know is it drives me nuts because I city drive to work and hit like 9 lights all around 40mph.

I discounted the shims... but you know what? when I towed my RV this summer, ~3,600 lbs with about 500 lbs (or more!) on the tongue, I didn't notice it. I attributed it to just having more weight to stop, so any "rumbling" was just hidden by the fact I needed more brakes - NOT the fact that I had all the extra weight, therefore squashing the springs down changing the alignment. hmm. I need to put some add increasing amounts of weight in the back to see when it feels different.

My solution is quickly approaching "trade it in on a new Ram 1500", lol. Im sure that will have its own bag of issues as well.

Update. My service advisor just called me and said there's noting else they can do and its "as good as it gets". So i'm now on the phone with corporate to see what they can do for me. This is absolutely ridiculous for as much as these trucks cost.

Ok so after a call to corporate they got on my dealership to fix my truck. They've had it for almost a week again. Said they are replacing the driveshaft last week. Got a text today saying my truck was done. He said it fixed the clicking/grinding while just decelerating. And the vibration while braking. And the vibration at highway speed. I'm super doubtful that this was the cause but we'll see. They've told be it's been right 4 other times and it obviously hasn't been. Honestly feel like I don't even want this truck anymore.

    Try this TSB
it goes through to 2021 Tacomas .
Maybe they will get it correct with this one
Funny how you add weight to the truck or even fill the gas tank up and the vibes begin to deminish . I wonder whats changing for this to occur ?

I didnt see this tsb posted anywhere ?Last one I heard mention of was up to 2019
One of you guys can start a fresh post with this tsb or just leave it here . Enjoy

They did this on mine. Didn't change anything. And also the driveshaft didn't fix the problem either. Went to pick it up a few hours ago. So frustrating.

Update from last month. Forgot to post it up here. Dealer can't figure it out or doesn't care to so they said it's normal for a tacoma. And they won't look at it anymore just go to another dealer if you think it's a problem. So I guess highway and braking vibe is totally normal for these trucks

That sucks dude . Its one of the biggest reasons I dont have a new Tacoma parked in my yard . My 2010 is mint but vibrates bad .
Toyota just cant get the vibes figured out
Call corporate and start a claim .
    Phone: 800-331-4331
    Fax: 310-468-7814
    Mon - Fri: 5:00 am - 6:00 pm PT
    Sat: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm PT

    Or send correspondence to:
    Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
    19001 South Western Ave.
    Dept. WC11
    Torrance, CA 90501
Thats the best we can do when the dealer says its normal .
When you get a claim started , dealers and technicians get paid good money to decipher your issue .
Very frustrating for you guys .

That was with a ticket my dude. They didn't care. Sided with the dealer and said "the dealer said it's normal"

2019 trd sport is vibrating at all speeds, Had a balance and alignment done. Didnt change a thing gets so bad at around 90-100km/hr my coffee cup jumps around the cup holder, my passenger seat moves a good 1-2 inches back and fourth and my steering wheel makes my hand go numb on long drives. Driving it 200km a day for work it makes me grind my teeth with frustration have a full inspection scheduled for the 2nd of October. Anything i should tell them to take a closer look at ?? Any help is very appreciated!!

I think the tongue weight is telling you your driveline angles are off. Has dealer checked this? Tapered shim might help under rear leafs.

Havent had them look at it yet 2nd of October it will be going in . I bought from a used dealership here on vancouver island truck only has 48,000km on it do you think it would be of value to bring them a print out of the TSB from 16 -23 for this issue? Only thing it is not only on deceleration it is a constant
