they are 5 grand over what they should be,, hope they cant sell them.. i paid 43800.00 Msrp...for my 2017 cement auto.. approching 30,000 miles still love the truck.. ive had it almost 3 yrs. and thats awhile for me. if i dont like something. i get rid of it , and buy something else.. i had a 2014 offroad for 6 months, terrible.. then a 2015 black pro. really liked that truck, great when clean, but thats to much work... , then the 2017's came out and had all the interior goodies that i wish my 2015 had, so i traded... untill a better tacoma comes along , i will keeping my 2017 Pro,, i see nothing in the future that interest's me at all... from toyota.. they need to step it uppppp..

You'd have to take $5,000 off for me to consider a truck with that intake.

You changed trucks that early because you got tired of cleaning black and you're not going to upgrade to a 2020 with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and a 10 way adjustable power seat?

Because Toyota will sell every Tacoma they build without power seats. Until they start seeing a drop in sales, they really have no incentive to do much to improve the truck. Hell Toyota won't even cover issues people have when off roading. Yet they sell it as an off road vehicle. But if the dealer sees mud....You are out of luck.

Interesting that the “ugly Voodoo Blue” commands a premium in most parts of the country and is the first color to move off the lot, while the AMAZING Blacks and Whites sit and gather dust. Jealousy is the ugliest color.

I agree. I love my Tacoma but hate how "spartan" it is. Love hate, it's how it goes with Toyota. I love Toyota and they suck at the same time Lol

just got email from my dealer......they said they really need my truck because they dont have enough and have a huge demand......they will give me 110% of current market value......there is a note: “purchasing or leasing one of our vehicles is notrequired. we are simply looking for an opportunity to acquire your 2016 Toyota Tacoma to meet customer demand.....”

when you open up the email there is nothing but hyper-sales gimmicks......typical to bait and switch......

my 2016 TRD Sport DCLB 3.5L V6 with 30k miles is booked at 26k...with 10% over that at 28.6 is little low if you ask me......could probably get 31 if i sell to private party...what do you guys think

Just bought my 2019 Tacoma Pro (black) last Friday. MSRP was $46,600 local dealership said they wouldn't move a dollar from that price. Went on CarsGurus and find the cheapest one in a 200 mile radius (white no less) that was $43,700. Had the dealership send me a price sheet for it. Took that back to local dealership and they matched it on the spot! I told them I would happily drive 200 miles to save $3k!

Bottom line work the dealership... if they still have the car in August good chance they want it gone...

SCS Brushed Copper 17x8.5 go on tomorrow to finish the job! If anyone wants a brand new set of wheels / tires please let me know

    Far from home...
    Vehicle:
    ‘18 Blk. Pro/ ‘17 GT350
'22 Pro suspension/ Custom Deaver springs/ ECGS and...

That’s exactly how I’ve purchased my PRO.... CarGuru’s, below MSRP.

BTW, are you selling them as a set? I might be interested in tires only.

Is the TRD pro really worth the 20k mark up vs an SR of the same base truck 4x4 v6?

Hmmm. I guess it depends on what you want to do with the truck and how much time you have to work on it. Time is money to some extent.

So to some people the Pro is worth it and others see the SR as a platform build their ideal truck. The one constant is dealers tend to mark up "add-ons" so some of the Pro cost comes with that mark up built in, its a convenience to some and others it looks like a waste of money. Also a lot of people like to buy the top of the line vehicle no matter what so it is "worth" it to them and gives them some exclusivity in a sense that not everyone will drop ~45K-52K on a vehicle that is designed to go off road on trails that will take some modding with the SR. Other people want to buy the base model to make the truck their own, its one of the things I like about Tacoma's is the wide range of mods available. I opted not to go with the 2019 TRD Pro because of cost and I like to add on to my truck incrementally over time plus I'm not a huge fan of leather seats, it just wasn't worth the extra cash to me.
