The pros now have JBL and red TRD lettering on skid plate plus the snorkel option. That's it.

I did see some of those pictures. The blue FJ looks like the blue that was available on that m-y. The other vehicles could be voodoo blue, but IDK. The blue looks similar to the 2018 offering, obviously darker.

I could do with out the red lettering on the skid plate.

If someone was to paint their own that's one thing

Voodoo Blue is the blue that was available on the FJ.

Oh never looked into it. Not a fan, the later model FJ blue looked OK, that was more gray.

I think there were only 2 blues available that I can recall. Cavalry Blue, same as the current Tacoma TRD Pro, and Voodoo Blue, which will be on the Pro next year. Not sure if that's what you were thinking of or not.

I vaguely recall seeing something about the Pro maybe coming with a Sunroof too.

it was kinda strange that you could get it on the sport or the OR
but not the pro...that should have every option.

    Agreed.

And perhaps an additional engine choice (4.6L V8 or FI version of the 3.5). Pipe dreams.

Fuuuuuu would love a v8 in this thing, it's what I really loved about my dakota.

but the no sunroof option did save me a lot of cash! :D had one on order, dealer
confirmed no sun roof option....order cancelled & monies saved!

Doesn't a big hole in the roof add flex? So the most ruggedly marketed truck probably wouldn't want that, right? Same as why true sports cars didn't come with them. Not sure if sports cars are offering them now or not, but that's how it used to be.

other than different shocks, it's an OR with a sport hood and they put them in
    the OR's
    - that's the part that didn't make sense to me.

In that picture voodoo blue looks really good. Most likely from a nice detail, and probably the best lighting for that image.

I found that the later shade of blue was Heritage blue. 2018 Subarus were available in this shade of blue, wich looked good on the WRX, I did not care for the 50th aniversy badging.

There gave been at least three shades of blue available on the U.S. FJ voodoo blue, which I think was on the FJ concept vehicle, and offered through most of its production. Calvary blue exclusive to the TT, and Heratige blue on 14-15 FJs

Ah ok, I got ya. Heritage and Cavalry look so close in pictures, I'm going to have to take a closer look next time I see one in person.

Just my opinion, but if Toyota really wanted to make the Taco Pro super special (and exclusively so), a factory H.O. engine would have made it a more serious performance platform.

No offense to Pro owners, but that's just not how Toyota does things with any of their Pro variants.
