Just bought a 2019 Tacoma TRD sport 4x4. It has not received a transmission flush or the transmission pan oil&filter change. What should I do? He only did the oil changes every 7,500 miles, and claims to have changed the spark plugs. I doubt it. What should I do to make it’s good I don’t wanna make the tranny slip with a flush. Help!!!! Also anyone know a good Tacoma mechanic on Long Island or Queens Ny?. It drives good wanna keep it this way.

It all depends on who, and how the service is done.
A flush done correctly won't hurt the transmission.

The safest way is a drain and fill.
Followed by a pan drop and filter.

I always tell people. You can't hurt anything with a drain and fill.
If you have issues after a drain and fill. You either did it wrong, or there was already existing damage.

    Re: Transmission
Like @Chew said above, drain & fill now and every 30K is easy & not expensive, use the genuine Toyota transmission fluid.

At 100K without solid service documentation I would change all the fluids including the coolant, brake and power steering fluid. This way you will know everything is fresh.

Depending on your level of experience and resources you can do most of these fairly easily at home.

Recently at 94K, I changed my own differentials and coolant. I had dealer do a trans flush about 5K miles ago.
