2019 TRD Sport.. ride not so smooth..

    Those Bilstein 5100's? Are those the adjustable lift ones ? If so would changing the lift require anything else?

    The ride is sub-par due to the frame design. The open channel continues to wiggle and shake well after the bump is encountered. The rear brace from an X-runner helps a bit, but won't eliminate all of it. Unfortunately, the spare won't fit with it, either.

    The dealer may have jacket you tire pressures way up. I lowered the tire pressure according to the door sticker. That’s what Toyota recommends. I don’t carry heavy loads so it’s fine for me. I have a compressor so it’s no problem increasing pressure if needed. I have always appreciated a firm ride in my cars and trucks.

    I love the truck, just the ride feels bumpy.. specially going below 40mph.

    I had a sr with r17 and it was stiff.. now trd or dives in each time I brake...

    I’ve had quite a few cars and the Volt was the softest most cloud like driving car I’ve ever owned.
